24G Automotive Millimeter-wave Radar HMR-CM-1201
Application
FCW- Forward Collision Warning
AEB-Advanced Emergency Braking
ACC-Adaptive Cruise Control
The FCW function is used to determine the potential collision risk through the radar sensing and calculating the distance between the vehicle during driving and the vehicle in front. When the detection distance is smaller than the safety value set by the system, an alert will be issued immediately. FCW has a significant practical safety effect when the driver fails to notice the condition in front.
The AEB function is used to detect the obstacles in front of the vehicle during driving and issue an alarm first after a series of internal program calculation. Autobrake will be triggered if the driver fails to brake actively.
The ACC function is used to monitor the road traffic environment in front of the vehicle through sensors such as automotive radars. Once other vehicles are found of driving in front of the current driving lane, it will make the current vehicle and the vehicle in front maintain the appropriate safety distance based on the relative distance between the current vehicle and the vehicle in front and the relative speed and other information.
